What we collect

Information you give us: contact details (name, email, phone), your resume and work history when you apply, messages you send through our contact forms or chat, and limited verification details when required to register you with a client's system. If you contact us as an employer, we collect your name, company, and hiring needs. We ask only for what we need, and never your full Social Security number or payment information through this site.

Information collected automatically: when you visit the site, our systems receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect anonymized usage statistics.

How we use it

For candidates: to match you with roles, communicate with you, and, with your involvement, register you with clients and background-check partners. For employers: to respond to your talent requests and manage our business relationship. We do not sell your personal information.

Where it lives

Your information is stored securely in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, and accessible only to the Sparta team members who need it. We use a small number of service providers to operate: recruiting and applicant tracking software, secure hosting and network infrastructure, and background-check providers engaged with your involvement. Each is bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us.

Retention: we keep candidate records (such as your resume and application history) while we are actively working with you and for a reasonable period afterward so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Employer contact records are kept for the duration of our business relationship. Sensitive verification details are kept for the minimum time needed and then deleted.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site and, only if you accept, analytics cookies to understand traffic. You choose when the cookie banner appears, and you can decline non-essential cookies with no loss of core functionality.

Your choices & rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements. You can also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell it) and we do not use your information for targeted advertising.
