Cath Lab / Special Procedures Tech

Sparta Networking seeks an experienced Cath Lab / Special Procedures Tech for a full-time contract role in Pikeville, KY. This position supports cardiac catheterization and special procedures, working with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional care.

What you will do

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and special procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment during procedures
• Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout all procedures
• Perform EKGs and assist with related diagnostic testing
• Document procedures accurately in the patient record
• Collaborate with the cath lab team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care

What you need

• ARRT certification
• Kentucky State certification
• BLS certification
• EKG training/certification
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification required within 24 months of hire
