About this role
Sparta Networking seeks a Reactor Operations Engineer to support the development, testing, and operation of next-generation energy systems in Los Angeles. This role focuses on testing procedures, operational readiness, and coordination of complex engineering activities with cross-functional teams.
What you will do
- Develop and execute system and reactor test procedures
- Coordinate testing activities across engineering teams
- Monitor instrumentation and system performance during testing
- Operate test consoles and support system diagnostics
- Assist with commissioning and operational readiness activities
- Maintain documentation for procedures and system operations
What you need
- Degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience with system testing or operations environments
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced engineering environments
Nice to have
- Nuclear or advanced energy systems experience
- Control room operations experience
- Systems integration and testing experience
