A&P Mechanic

About this role

Sparta Networking is hiring experienced FAA-certified A&P Mechanics for a component repair environment at a leading aviation maintenance organization in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves aircraft component disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing within a Part 145 repair station. Full-time and contract opportunities are available.

What you will do

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble aircraft components
• Perform troubleshooting and functional testing
• Inspect parts for wear, corrosion, and damage
• Replace components per manufacturer specifications
• Utilize test stands and diagnostic equipment
• Ensure compliance with FAA and Part 145 standards
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation

What you need

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• Minimum 2 years aircraft maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Nice to have

• Component repair or engine accessory experience
• Experience in Part 145 repair station environment
