Aircraft Structures Mechanic

Sparta Networking is seeking experienced Aircraft Structures Mechanics for a leading aviation MRO organization in Lake Charles, Louisiana. This role involves heavy aircraft modification and conversion programs, including structural reinforcements, major repairs, and large-scale installation projects.

What you will do

• Perform structural repairs and heavy modification installations
• Drill, rivet, fabricate, and fit sheet metal components
• Install reinforcement structures and assemblies
• Interpret engineering drawings and structural repair manuals (SRM)
• Perform skin repairs and structural replacements
• Ensure compliance with FAA and quality standards
• Complete required maintenance documentation

What you need

• Minimum 2 years aircraft structures experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Must provide standard tools
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Nice to have

• Heavy modification or MRO experience
• Experience working on commercial aircraft
