About this role

Sparta Networking seeks experienced FAA-certified A&P Inspectors for a leading aviation maintenance organization in Greensboro, NC. This full-time or contract position focuses on inspections during widebody heavy maintenance operations, ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

What you will do

  • Perform required inspections during heavy maintenance checks
  • Verify completed work meets FAA and company standards
  • Review and sign off maintenance work packages
  • Identify discrepancies and ensure corrective action
  • Ensure airworthiness compliance before return to service
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection documentation

What you need

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Minimum 3 years heavy maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to work any shift as required
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Nice to have

  • Previous inspection experience
  • Experience on Boeing or Airbus aircraft
